Monday 15th March - Sunday 21st March 2010HIGHLIGHTS
1. Finding a Sailor Dress for $5 at Maylands. Ever since I saw Cassie Ainsworth looking ever-so-adorable in a sailor top (see above picture) on an episode of Skins (series one) well over two years ago, I convinced myself I NEEDED a sailor top or dress of my own. For two years I Etsy and Ebay searched the shit out of sailor dresses yet never managed to find one in my size/price range, etc. This sailor dress of mine is a childrens size 12 yet it somehow manages to fit me very well. Amazing. If I had a working camera I would post pictures on here but unfortunately I don't anymore since James Redman dropped and broke my digital camera at my 20th birthday party last year. So kids, you're just going to have to use your imaginations.
2. Actually having an awesome night at Tramplifier! I'm not joking! Crazy, huh? The longest and hardest I've danced in yonks! I went to see Melbourne's
Eddy Current Supression Ring on Friday and it was the sickest gig I've seen all month! So good! Really loud, hard, energetic rock and roll. If you dig, I suggest you go see these guys. They were opened by one of my favourite local bands
Pond who are always so much fun to watch and dance to. There was a pretty huge crowd but everyone was kind of awesome for a change, it wasn't full of too many dirty Tramplifier regulars. I also ran into this girl Evie who I take the same theatre unit as at uni. We ended up hanging together in the crowd and managed to score a spot at the front right of the stage. We had bonding moments when we went and sculled goon in an alleyway with Sally and when I accidentally groped one of her boobies. Evie is a mad bitch. Hooray for me for making a new awesome friend.
2. Scoring the opportunity to review RTR FM's In The Pines for
Spaceship News.

1.Actress/Model Emma Booth (above) was a rude and impatient bitch at Tramplifier. She asked me if i had a lighter for a cigarette and as I was grabbing a lighter out of my bag, she stole my almost finished cigarette out of my hand and let her cigarette my mine, without my permission. Ruuude. However, this Emma Booth incident was also quite hilar as a friend good friend of mine, who had drunkenly made out with Ms Booth a few weeks ago and has been bragging about it ever since, was standing behind her pointing at her and making obscene sexual gestures from behind.
2.Having to work in Midland and Joondalup, two places that can be kind of scary and are also far away. On the plus side, I got paid and got to hang out with Walsh who is always super nice.
3.Being charged $9.50 for a gin at Tramplifier. $9.50!?
